Moussaka / Cookisto Goes Greek!

Crikes, DiCooks' 4th Cookisto night is nearly upon us - with tasty takeaways ready to pick up on Friday June 20th June.

The last Cookisto offering of Thai Fishcakes, Jasmine Rice and Sweet Chilli Dip went down a storm, resulting in my highest order total to date. Thank you to everyone for your support and generous feedback! 

From the Far East to a little closer to home - for my next Cookisto night, I shall be cooking up a classic eastern mediterranean dish drenched in Greek flavours - the much overlooked Moussaka. Perfect with a simple salad, my Moussaka will be layered with beef and pork, cooked to perfection and will cost only £7.50 per portion.

Throw in a glass of Retsina, cross your fingers for some evening warmth and one could be relaxing on a Greek island...

I shall also be offering an option to buy some of my famed Spanakopita for only £2.00 per slice too, but please don't forget that orders need to be in before 4pm on Wednesday June 18th - you can contact me here.

Rustic cooking or what! 

Here's quick glimpse of this week's Cookisto dish - which is Braised Pork with new potatoes, garnished with soured cream and fresh dill slowly maturing on the hob. 

I'm also putting in a sneaky cabbage and caraway salad with shavings of pickled cucumbers... come on, where else are you going to get such a cracking takeaway in North Herts? Or anywhere else for that matter?
